Privacy Policy

Zivya analyzes a selfie to tell you your skin undertone and the colors that complement it. That means we handle a photo of your face, which is sensitive. This policy explains exactly what happens to it.
The short version: we store your photo privately, send it to our AI provider only to produce your analysis, delete it automatically after 30 days, never sell it, and let you erase everything at any time.
What we collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and password (stored only as a cryptographic hash — we cannot read it).
- Date of birth. Required to verify you meet our 17+ age rating.
- Photos you submit. The selfies you choose to analyze.
- Analysis results. Your undertone, depth, color season, palette and routine.
- Subscription status. Managed through Apple, Google and RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment card.
- Technical logs. Timestamps and error information needed to keep the service running.
How we use your photo
When you submit a selfie, it is uploaded to our servers and sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, for the sole purpose of producing your color analysis. We do not use your photos to train any AI model, and we do not make them public.
Photos are never served from a public address. They are accessible only through short-lived signed links tied to your account.
How long we keep it
- Photos are deleted automatically 30 days after upload.
- Your analysis results remain in your history while your account is open.
- If you delete your account, your data is removed.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Settings → Delete all my data. This permanently removes your account, your photos and your analyses. It cannot be undone. You can also write to hello@zivya.app and we will do it for you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers required to operate Zivya:
- Anthropic — processes your photo to generate the analysis.
- RevenueCat, Apple and Google — handle subscriptions and payments.
- Our hosting provider — stores the application and its database.
Age requirement
Zivya is rated 17+ and is not intended for children. We verify age at sign-up. If we learn that we hold data belonging to someone under the minimum age, we delete it.
Security
All traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed. Photos are stored outside the public web root and are reachable only through expiring signed links.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Write to hello@zivya.app and we will respond.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects you, we will update the date above and notify you in the app.
